The FIVE POINTS GOLF CLUB closes out each season with our annual Ryder Cup event. The club is split into two teams … the Whackers and the Hookers … which play in a Ryder Cup style event featuring six holes each of aggregate score, alternate shot, and scramble formats.
Unfortunately, due to inclement weather, the 2025 FPGC Ryder Cup was cancelled for the first time. We expect to resume playing this event to conclude the 2026 FPGC season.
2024 Ryder Cup
WOW!!! October 6, 2024 turned out to be a very beautiful day to be golfing! The Five Points Golf Club just completed our 9th Ryder Cup Tournament at Makefield Highlands and, once again, Ken’s Whackers team won for the 6th time out of 9 outings. What’s the secret?
Actually, the Hookers won 3 of the 5 team matches, all 9.5 to 8.5. However, the two matches that the Whackers won were by huge numbers … 10.5 to 7.5, and 12 to 6 … to give them the team victory.
